Digital Sovereignty
in the Age of AI

A self-paced course by Linda Petrini — AI researcher & coach

Most people are coping with AI rather than choosing how to relate to it. This course is for those who want to change that. Not by becoming a technical expert, but by building the kind of understanding that makes real choices possible — about your data, your attention, your thinking, and how you talk about all of this with others.

What you’ll learn

6 modules, 15–20 minutes each

  1. What AI actually knows about you — data collection, profiling, and inference: what is being built, by whom, from what, and to what end.
  2. Your digital footprint — an honest audit of what you’re currently sharing, with whom, under what terms. Not to produce guilt — to produce agency.
  3. Attention by design — how recommendation systems and interfaces are built to hold you. Understanding the engineering behind the experience.
  4. The privacy toolkit — messaging, browsing, email, passwords. Ranked by effort and actual impact so you can start with what matters most.
  5. Using AI without losing yourself — how to work with AI tools in ways that keep your own thinking sharp. The difference between augmentation and delegation.
  6. Teaching others — how to have this conversation without sounding alarmist or conspiratorial. Practical framing for coaches, parents, colleagues, and friends.

AI Researcher · Writer · Coach

Seven years inside AI research — interpretability, policy, safety — at Anthropic, Palisade Research, Foresight Institute, and the Bezos Earth Fund. This course is what she wished had existed when she was trying to make sense of it all.
